Dream11 team of India vs Australia 2nd T20I

The wicket is expected to bring in a lot more runs than in Vishakapatnam, even though there is a nice green covering of grass on it. Truer bounce and short boundaries will mean more value for shots and that means there's another auction in place for both the middle orders that failed in the first T20I. India will hope the likes of Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant and Krunal Pandya can give themselves some useful runs under the belt, while the same applies to Australia's troika of Peter Handscomb, Aaron Finch and Ashton Turner. The runs Rahul and Maxwell made for India and Australia respectively will give both camps great cheer, and a continuation of that will be the least the teams expect.

The bowling attacks from both sides have little to worry about. Umesh Yadav is surely an issue for India, but his last over failure could be viewed as a one-off. They will, however, ponder about the need for an extra option. For Australia, Jhye Richardson was the most disappointing, but certainly not to an extent that'll give the think tank a headache.

When: India vs Australia, 2nd T20I, 7 PM Local Time
Where: Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
What to expect: More runs than in Vizag if the batsmen are not too reckless. The pitch wears a nice green tinge, and should make the pacers happy. Otherwise a pleasant evening, with little chance of rain.
Team News:
India: Shikhar Dhawan batted the most during India's net session, and it looks like he could be included in place of Rohit Sharma for the game. The experiment and success with KL Rahul up the order was a good one for the hosts in Vizag, and the right-hander will hope to make the most of another chance in the familiar setting of Chinnaswamy. Rishabh Pant batted ahead of Dinesh Karthik, while Vijay Shankar bowled a decent amount too.
India could also look at dropping Mayank Markande for Siddarth Kaul if they deem the pitch to be more pacer-favourable. The lack of a sixth bowling option hurt them in the last game, and Vijay Shankar could just get a look in if India want more cushion.

Probable XI: Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli (c), Rishabh Pant, MS Dhoni (wk), Dinesh Karthik/Vijay Shankar, Krunal Pandya, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mayank Markande/Siddarth Kaul, Jasprit Bumrah
Australia: Australia are unlikely to tinker with their line-up too much. One of their pacers might sit out for Kane Richardson, while it will also be interesting to see if the experiment to try out Marcus Stoinis as the opener and Finch at one-drop continues.

Probable XI: Aaron Finch (c), D'Arcy Short, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Peter Handscomb (wk), Ashton Turner, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Pat Cummins, Jhye Richardson/Kane Richardson, Jason Behrendorff, Adam Zampa

What they said:
It's important to go out there and win every game, but eventually, we have to remember that it's cricket, it's a sport, it's an unpredictable sport. Obviously, whenever we step on to the field we want to win every game: Krunal Pandya
Playing cricket anywhere is good preparation. In some regards, the conditions are going to be different in the world cup then what will be here. There will be a lot of games at the world cup, so at the back of our minds, the wickets might be tired and it could spin like the wickets here in India. As bowlers, if we can take wickets here in the middle overs against a good batting line-up, in wickets, which is probably that are not bowler friendly, it will put us in good shape for the world cup: Pat Cummins
